Nikon D3100

Purchased used from Ebay while I was still in high school, this camera was my first and only DSLR. It is what taught me the basics of photography and, despite being almost a decade old, is still my go to camera.

Throughout high school, I only used the 18-55mm lens with a 50mm prime lens bought about a year later. Now though, I carry a 12mm prime and 55-200mm zoom lens as well.

After wanting to start using film, but never knowing where to start, I purchased this camera for nine dollars at my local Goodwill. While it lacks the manual control a more common SLR would have, it has been a great stepping stone into the world of film photography for me.

While not ideal, this is what I keep in my pocket everywhere I go and is ready at a moments notice. In a pinch, I’ll use the basic camera app, but if I have the time I like to use the ProCam app.
